"This has become our home base when we are in the area. Owner is still making improvements as the campground is fairly new. Easy access to I-95 makes it ideal. Owner is currently in process of making access to the park easier by building new access road there is even a small remote post office for outgoing items in adjoining park. You will enjoy the quiet with the occasional sound of freedom flying over from Seymour Johnson AFB. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the area."

"Dont let the current ongoing project's planned an ongoing discourage your stay,, what events they lack, are made up for by personal attention to your needs during your stay,, I have found them to exceed or equal any completed upscale RV park.
I have camped through out the state at many different sites.
Hidden Haven has a strong, peaceful setting, with private individual sites larger with space you don't feel like your in your neighbors awning space. You have a lawn on both sides, a forest atmosphere, with wildlife all around.
The best parts beyond, the feel of a state park visit, is the owner and manager. The family spirit of team work, unity, is evident when you see them hands on creating and maintaining this park.
When you first sign in throughout my stay, I have found the relationship with management and any needs as a camper ( no matter situation or length of stay from nightly or monthly) to be a priority to serve the guests with knowledge of repair services, to allowing accommodations you may need if family visit, or if you have a need of personal assistance. They don't have a store on site, although are accommodating to those in need of help from errands, grocery, or lunch pick up.
They stand behind " let me know if I can help you in anyway.
Amazing, I've never stayed where, rules exists as they should, this business stands behind an understanding of helping you live withing the rules if your in any need.
True hometown caring, and yet very much a business with great fore site and plans to grow . To become the go to weekend stay, or extended camping for business in this area. They are putting in a fishing pond, pool, and so much.
Current feel is very much about your safety, is well lit but not over done, fresh, clean, showers and cabana to have a gathering with.
Oh an a owner who believes in sharing the knowledge of past with his children and showing them how to care and share with strangers, gifts of fresh vegetables as they are ready from the garden. He is appropriately friendly, concerned and helpful. His daughter the office manager is super, genuinely cares about your stay and needs.
This is a business family who put family and customer service first.
I've never been so welcome to be at an RV park or even as a renter of a home or welcome to a hotel stay as I feel here.
Don't miss this , and follow it as it grows, I am. I've been here a short while, I've never felt so much like home.
I've never written so much about a business, I held off until, I could see how they continue to be only who they are, planners, business, with tremulous customer service."

"This RV Park opened in late 2020. The owner has some great plans for the place: pool, playground, putt-putt course, all of which he intends to get done in the next year. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and how thoughtful the owners were. They checked on us upon arrival, offered us fresh veggies from their garden, and shared some info regarding the place. I prefer staying here over RVacation Campground, which is close by (we spent one night and left). These folks are definitely much more hospitable and genuine. We highly recommend this place."
